Celebrating Research Books
Drs. Erika Hasebe-Ludt and Cynthia Chambers, along with contributing authors gave readings from two of their publications (A Heart of Wisdom and Contemplating Curriculum) on Friday afternoon, April 25, 2014 in Markin Hall, hosted by the Faculty of Education.
Heart of Wisdom Readings
The reading program included the following readings from the various sections of A Heart of Wisdom: “Memory Work” with Carl Leggo, Leah Fowler, Wanda Hurren, Candace Lewko; “Place Work” with Erika Hasebe-Ludt, Faye (for Hali) Heavy Shield; “Curriculum Work” with Cynthia Chambers, Christy Audet, Janet Pletz, Jackie Seidel; and “Social Work” with Anita Sinner.
Contemplating Curriculum Readings
Readings from sections of Contemplating Curriculum included “Weaving Genealogies” with Leah Fowler; “Lingering with Times, Dwelling in Places” with Erika Hasebe-Ludt and Michele Tanaka; and “Living the Topos” with Christy Audet, Bruce Hill, Wanda Hurren, Candace Lewko, and Carl Leggo.
